What to Expect on Sunday?

Contact us

Our Sunday morning is 11am and Sunday evening is 6:30pm

If you are running late, don't worry, there will still be a seat for you

The morning service lasts about one hour and a half

The evening service lasts about one hour

Our services are simple and centred on worshipping God together. We sing praise, pray and hear God’s Word preached. In the morning, there’s also a children’s talk, and we finish by gathering around the Lord’s Table to remember Jesus as He commanded.

If you’re visiting, please don’t rush away afterwards — we’d love to meet you and get to know you.

Not at all. People usually stand while we sing, but there’s no pressure to sing along or take part. An offering is also collected during our morning service, but visitors are not expected to give. We want you to feel at ease, so you’re very welcome to simply come along, listen and observe.

There’s no dress code at Gortmerron. You’ll find some people dressed casually and others a little more formally. Simply come as you are, you’ll be warmly welcomed

We love to see kids at our services. You may think they are making too much noise, but they aren't. Their noise is a reminder they are the next generation

Crèche is available during the morning service for babies and preschoolers

Sunday school is before the morning service from 9:45-10:45

Accessible toilet

Lift and wheel chair access to first floor

Hearing loops

Designated parking space outside the front of church if needed
